Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Naperville is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Naperville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I recently wanted to add a Jurassic Park theme to my 2021 Jeep Wrangler, along with a few upgrades like a shorty antenna, wheel spacers, and a gas cap. After finding Wildside Customs through a Google search, I connected with Josh, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Josh immediately understood the vision I had for the Jeep and helped bring it to life. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Responses were quick, expectations were clear, and the work was completed in a very timely manner. He also took the time to explain everything involved. The quality of the work and customer service made this an outstanding experience from start to finish. This is just the beginning of my Jeep build journey, and I’m already looking forward to coming back for future upgrades. I highly recommend Wildside Customs. Looking forward to continuing the partnership! πŸš™πŸ¦–

Had Wildside Customs mount a Rugged Ridge spare tire mount for me and perform an inspection on a newly bought, used JKU. These guys really know their stuff, got the work done quickly, and were great to work with. Have plenty more to do with the Jeep, and look forward to working with them on the build. Highly recommended! Edit: Went back and they hooked me up with a bunch of steering and suspension upgrades. Yeti drag link, tie rod, Yukon ball joints, u-joints, and an AEV 2.5" suspension lift with rear track bar, JKS lower front control arms and quick disconnects. These guys live for Jeeps, and I thank them for guiding my build so far!

I’ve been literally waiting years to pull the trigger on a lift for this 90 wagoneer and always hesitated, not knowing who I could trust with the task. Until I met Joshua and team - these guys are great and know their stuff through and through. Project speaks for itself. 100% pros. Thanks Wildside!

It was time for some fluid replacement for my differentials, and my tfer case and transmission. I checked with the dealer and got pricing. I decided to go with Wildside instead. After talking to them, I just felt my jeep , 18 jlu sport, was in better hands here than at the dealer. I had them do their 45 point inspection. I have not had many issues with my jeep so far ,so I felt time now at about 60k miles ,just in case I was missing anything. They did a great job changing the fluids - despite my skid plates. They also installed a new battery for me since it had to be jumped to get it started. Their inspection was really helpful with videos showing some parts so you could see the wear and tear. I will be going back here in the next week or so to have my tie rod and drag link replaced - they were showing wear on the ends and replacing those keeps the DW at bay. Overall a great experience . Very knowledgeable on jeeps and some other brands too like Bronco etc.. For sure I will be coming here to have any other work needed for my jeep to keep it going out past 100k!! Before u haul your jeep to Colorado or Cali for some trails, better stop in here for that inspection. Worth every penny!

I really found a gem here! Where to begin? Prices: OVERLY fair! - If you could beat them, you'll likely lack very much in the expertise and quality of the skilled work Wildside provides. Completely open and upfront: They have a very user friendly website and communication process. You can request an estimate online and recieve it via email/text. It is detailed and parts are the same as you'd find on your own online. Try that with a dealer or most others πŸ’€ ☠️ 😬 Skilled: The whole shop is not just very skilled in their craft, they are all passionate about what they do! And wow do they pay attention to detail! Wildside Customs will treat your vehicle as if it was their own mother's! 45 point inspection: I more than highly recommend this! It is not your typical "overlook over". They use tech to prove and show you each point of the inspection with pictures and/or video, with notes and recommendations (if any). This also gets emailed to you for your record. Pics/video are great quality and super easy to navigate through as well. They don't just build and do lift kits in case your wondering. They do MANY types of repairs, diagnostics, tires/wheels, preventive work like brakes, oil,
